南加州大學(xué)2013年秋季本科面試進行時

　　今天接到南加州大學(xué)2013年招生面試通知：南加州大學(xué)的面試,對條件符合的學(xué)生是個機會,希望去usc的學(xué)生和家長,提交一個申請面試的表格,多一個機會爭取一下。

　　您好！  

　　我是美國南加州大學(xué)本科招生入學(xué)部副主任,中國地區(qū)負責(zé)人, megan 王。  

　　今年我將在南加大北京和上海辦事處進行本科招生面試。  

　　南加大的本科面試是免費的。因為出于學(xué)生自愿,所以我校每年面試的人數(shù)只占報名人數(shù)的9%。面試是報名材料的一部分,但面試學(xué)生并不會因此而占絕對優(yōu)勢。面試時不會發(fā)出任何錄取邀請。面試采英文制。  

　　面試只開放給高三的同學(xué),采取小組制（8到10位同學(xué)一組,每組60到75分鐘）。北京的面試在9月23日（星期日）,從10:30到16:00。上海的面試在10月13日（星期六）,從10:15到16:00。  

　　有興趣的同學(xué)應(yīng)在截止日前將申請表（請見附加件）電郵給南加大北京或上海辦事處。我們會選擇并分組,然后將確切面試時間電郵給獲得面試的同學(xué)。  

　　因面試名額有限,所以同學(xué)們應(yīng)盡快遞交申請表,以增加面試的機會。北京面試申請截止日是9月18日,上海面試申請截止日是10月8日。

i’m megan wang, associate director of undergraduate admission and territory manager for china.  
this year i will be conducting official undergraduate admission interviews at the usc beijing office and usc shanghai office.  
usc undergraduate admission interviews are free and voluntary.  because interview is an optional part of our application process, we interview approximately 9% of our undergraduate applicants each year.  the interview is part of a student’s application, but does not give any automatic advantage.  no admission offers will be given at the interviews, which are conducted in english.  
the interviews are open to 12th grade students only, and are conducted in groups of 8 to 10 students, with each session lasting 60 to 75 minutes.  the beijing interviews will take place on september 23, 2012 (sunday), from 10:30 to 16:00.  the shanghai interviews will take place on october 13, 2012 (saturday), from 10:15 to 16:00. 
interested students should submit a request form (attached with this email) to usc beijing or shanghai office by the respective deadlines.  we will select and group students, and will email the selected interviewee their assigned time slots.  
because we assign the limited interview spots on a rolling basis, students should submit their request forms as soon as possible to increase their chances of receiving an interview spot.  the request submission deadlines are september 18, 2012 for the beijing interviews, and october 8, 2012 for the shanghai interviews.
